The practitioner who found what fifteen years of searching couldn't.

On his 40th birthday, Jason sneezed while turning and dislodged a rib. That sentence sounds minor. The fifteen years that followed were not. Chronic pain. Restricted movement. The kind of misery that sits in the body so long you stop believing anyone can reach it.

He saw practitioners. He tried treatments. In Austin, a chiropractor named Zaire made real progress. Then life moved Jason to Florida, and the search started over. Most practitioners couldn't find it. Some made it worse. The rib stayed where it wasn't supposed to be, and the body kept compensating around it.

Amber found Dr. Natalie Jeffries through Instagram. Vessel Chiropractic had videos showing the kind of precision work that looked different from the standard crack-and-go. Amber booked the appointment. Jason went in skeptical. Fifteen years of skeptical.

Dr. Natalie listened. She assessed. She worked. And then Thomas, the intern from Palmer College of Chiropractic, joined her. The two of them worked in tandem, and between them, they found the rib.

They cracked open the doorway that had been locked for fifteen years.

Jason is not out of the woods yet. He will say that clearly. The work is ongoing. But the fact that the door is open at all, that the structural pattern holding the pain in place was identified and addressed by two practitioners working together in a single session, is something no one else has been able to do in a decade and a half.

They did not know they were going to get a testimonial out of it. They did not know Jason was building Rainbow Bridge of Hope. They did not know that the man on their table was the same person assembling a national coalition of people who heal other people. They just did the work. Dr. Natalie listened to the body. Thomas brought the precision his Palmer training gave him. Together, they found something everyone else had missed.

That is why Vessel Chiropractic is in this coalition.

Thomas. The intern who showed up ready.

Palmer College of Chiropractic is one of the oldest and most respected chiropractic institutions in the country. Getting placed in a clinic like Vessel, under a practitioner like Dr. Natalie, is an earned position.

Thomas arrived at Vessel as an intern. He stayed as a practitioner-in-formation. When Dr. Natalie and Thomas worked on Jason together, Thomas didn't observe from the corner. He was in the work. Hands on. Adjusting. Following Dr. Natalie's lead and adding his own assessment to the treatment.

The tandem approach is what found the rib. One practitioner working alone might have reached it eventually. Two, working in coordination, found it in a single visit. That's not luck. That's the kind of clinical training that produces practitioners who will be leading their own practices within years.

Thomas deserves his name on this page because the work he did in that room contributed directly to a result fifteen years overdue. Palmer should be proud of what walked out of their program and into that treatment room.

The coalition is built one healer at a time.

Practitioners, craftsmen, veterans, and community leaders who believe in honoring a pet and saving a life. Five sponsor tiers from $0 to $5,000 plus an any-amount donation track.

For the makers

When the last bridge sells, the mission doesn't end.

Paul made every bridge by hand. When the last of his finds a home, the inventory is gone — but the grieving pet owners don't stop arriving. The families don't stop needing something to hold.

We're looking for the next maker. A woodworker. A painter. A welder. A potter. A photographer. An illustrator. A sculptor. An artist of any medium who can build something a family keeps on their mantle for twenty years. You don't have to be Paul. Nobody can be. You can be the next chapter — under your own name, your own style, your own hands.

Photographers, illustrators, metalworkers, glass artists, weavers — the medium doesn't matter. The grief doesn't pick a form. Whatever you make, if it can carry someone's love for the animal they lost, this door is yours.
