1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and any interaction with Rainbow Bridge of Hope, including our forms, emails, events, and coalition. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or contact us. We may update these terms as the mission grows, and continued use means you accept the current version.
2. Not a crisis service. Not counseling. No professional relationship.
Rainbow Bridge of Hope is a charitable and educational mission. It is not a crisis line, a counseling or therapy service, a healthcare or mental-health provider, or an emergency responder. We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention.
Contacting us, filling out a form, attending an event, or speaking with anyone connected to this mission does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, counselor, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Our volunteers and coalition members are not acting as licensed professionals when they participate. If you are struggling, please reach a licensed professional, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
3. How our coalition operates
When someone in our community is hurting, our role is to offer compassion, prayer, practical encouragement, and a connection to real help. It is not to provide clinical care. Our volunteers are guided to refer anyone in crisis to 988, 911, or a licensed professional, every time, without exception. Please do not rely on Rainbow Bridge of Hope for emergency or clinical support.
4. Not medical, legal, or financial advice
Nothing on this site or shared by this mission is medical, mental-health, legal, tax, or financial advice, and none of it is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Always consult an appropriate professional before making decisions about your health, finances, or legal matters.
5. Information provided as-is. No warranties.
We share Paul Allabaugh's story, his handcrafted bridges, and resources we believe may help. We work to keep everything accurate, but we provide this site and everything on it “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Assumption of risk
You use this site, its information, and any resource or connection you find through it at your own risk and discretion. You are responsible for your own decisions and for seeking appropriate professional help when you need it.
7. Third-party resources, people, and links
We sometimes name organizations, businesses, professionals, and crisis resources, and we may link to outside websites. Listing or linking is not an endorsement, a guarantee of their services, or a claim that they endorse us, unless we state that plainly and the party has agreed. Coalition members and partners shown here have chosen to be listed. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, services, conduct, or availability of any third party or external site.
8. Bridges, gifts, and how money works
Bridge sales go directly to Paul's widow, Pat Allabaugh. Personal gifts sent through Venmo are personal gifts and are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. We do not make tax-deductibility claims. Bridges are handmade and finite, and availability can change without notice. We are not responsible for shipping delays or issues outside our reasonable control.
9. Privacy
Information you share through our forms and email is handled per our Privacy Policy. Please read it before submitting anything.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rainbow Bridge of Hope and its organizers, volunteers, coalition members, sponsors, and contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or related to your use of this site, your reliance on anything found here, or your interaction with this mission, even if we were advised such damages were possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rainbow Bridge of Hope and its organizers, volunteers, coalition members, and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.
12. Governing law and severability
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
