You don't have a business. You don't run an organization. But you have a heart for this and you want to be part of it. Maybe you lost someone. Maybe you almost were someone. There's a place for you here. The Lantern tier above is yours.
Share the mission. Volunteer at events. Spread the word. You are not alone in this.
What you're joining.
Rainbow Bridge of Hope started because a craftsman named Paul built handmade wooden bridges for people whose pets had passed. He gave them as gifts. He sold them for almost nothing. He couldn't cross the bridge between what he could create and the world that needed to see it.
Paul died by suicide. His widow, Pat Allabaugh, is alone with muscular dystrophy and a house full of bridges nobody knows about.
This coalition exists to sell those bridges, honor Paul's work, support Pat, and build a suicide prevention movement that connects veterinarians, veterans, craftsmen, businesses, and everyday people who refuse to look away.
In a matter of weeks, we've launched a website, signed our first sponsor, captured an on-camera interview with our veterinary spokesperson, received outreach from a veteran service dog nonprofit, and watched twenty-plus Volusia County business owners answer one Facebook post with: I want in.
135 Americans die by suicide every day. Paul was one of them. He didn't have to be. Neither does the next one.
